A couple of years ago I began to start taking writing seriously.  I had always dabbled and had a deep love for the art, but unfortunately I was confused and never fully found the time to focus on it.  Personally, I believe if you have a passion follow it.  What do you have to lose?  We live in dark times where degrees and gumption don’t necessarily equal success anymore, so why not live life to the fullest and focus on what drives you?

By day (or, night rather) I work as a grocer.  It puts food on the table, pays the bills, and leaves me plenty left over to indulge in anyone of my numerous hobbies.  In my off time, I write.  I host two blogs, I freelance for the Examiner, self promote, and submit my works regularly across the internet (It is after all the world’s largest playground).  I follow my passion, whether I’m adept at it or not, I at the very least, try.

In the beginning this blog was my first; it was before everything else.  I lived with one of my closest friends at the time and we were always bantering back and forth about silly little things.  Those silly little things eventually turned into my “Mopey the Ferret” blog postings; the foundation for this blog.  And, like my sole Amazon review, they were riddled with grammatical errors and the humor was not everyone’s cup of tea.  From there, however, it evolved.  It became something more.  It became my personal hub.  I link all of my work from the Examiner and sister blog here, my inane and insane ideas into the world of a wannabe writer, and every once in a while a tale concerning the liquored up ferret reaches this blogosphere.

This is my website.  This is about me.  My likes, dislikes, odd ideas and rabbles…it’s all here.  I hope you enjoy the mad ramblings of a young writer just trying to break it.
